Pinot Noir

This variety is native to the French region of Bourgogne and it is a delicate variety that is difficult to cultivate.

This grape has potential to produce elegant wines with a medium to low level of tannin, a velvety texture and a high acidity level. With their high potential for quality, these wines reflect “terroir” very well.

They are very suitable for oak barrels. The wines have notes of earth and meat after they have been matured in oak.

Good examples in world wine making are produced in France - (Bourgogne (Côte de Nuits, Côte de Baune)), Australia, New Zealand, USA (California and Oregon).

Pinot Noir grapes are grown in Kavaklıdere’s vineyards on the Denizli-Güney Plateau.
